... was hilarious. Of course I didn't think about this at the time of booking my flight several months prior. I immediately cursed my decision to 'save' 40 pounds by not flying direct and wished there was a way I could go back in time 2 months and slap myself.

... out that, for me to find out the name of the tour, I needed to have wifi (buy some hot-spot portable wifi card thingy)...of course Mark and I know all about hot spots and between us drank alot of water but, no wifi. Down to reception for phone book ( it's in the room); back to room still no phone book; angry lady now in ***** and goes down to reception ranting quietly, demanding that someone in the Hotel must be able to find my number! Poor man ...

... Hampi we got to watch one of the games (the ODI in Hamilton) with two local gents in their travel agency shop. Ben convinced them to call their bookie and put some rupees down on NZ, so everyone in the room was stoked when the Blackcaps took the win. It was a great way to spend an afternoon!

... fumes and food smells everywhere. All the usual stuff. It's like I'm back home. Wonderful!!! PS Hotel actually pretty decent despite fears to the contrary. But then again at €45 it might be the most expensive night of our trip. And the bellhop didn't even ask for a tip despite almost popping a vein while trying to carry both our bags one in each hand. He got one anyway ...
