... the fact that it was the last stop and there was only, maybe, a finger width between us and the chairs. I'm not sure what incremental gain they hoped to get. The station itself was packed with people. The wide open space in front of the ticket office had been taken over by picnicking families. Blankets had been spread out to claim a square of floor. Families would then gather in a circle and sit eating, what I can only assume was, delicious curry.
