Back to hostel and flew out at 1am on the 28th to Bangkok for a few nights. I stayed with my good friend Tan from Timbertop who moved to England to finish school after year 9. Was lovely to catch up with him and get some decent sleep before I headed off to cross the border overland into Burma on the 1st of October which is where I am now!

... staying for the next two nights before joining the ship, our room although smaller than the Hyatt has a nice feel with a balcony overlooking the Gateway to India and around the bay. We can see the cruise birth from our room so we should be able to check that it has berthed before we get up.
