... and saw some 'suites ' in this hotel and they were just actually fabulous for a mere $1600 plus per night. We were then treated to a fabulous Indian dinner and it was absolutely delicious and very spiced. I was in heaven!! We even had Indian wine which had a very distinct smell and flavour (that will have to wait until I get home). Shortly after we finished our supper, Sheri and I hit the pool for a night swim and topped it off ...

... exit transport whilst it's still moving, exit the wrong doors on trains, frequently walk over train lines, shimmy up coconut trees without harnesses, don't know what hard hats are, welding without goggles, climb down 10 ft ladders forwards, fire fireworks 10 m from straw roofs, have fuse boxes next to water out let pipes, don't give passengers on motorbikes helmets(although the drivers usually wear them and most do them up too) tyres being changed whilst vehicle is propped up ...

... Because it is built from marble which is semi-translucent the building appears to shimmer and almost glow. So the next day we tried to get up early to avoid the worst of the crowds and it was definitely worth going inside to check it out but it was absolutely packed with people everywhere. We also went to visit nearby ruins of Fatehpur sikri where the emperor had his palace and there is also a very beautiful mosque. It was really nice to see this part of India so influenced by ...
