... einen spannenden Einblick in den Alltag in den Backwaters.
Die Zeit in Alleppey selbsthaben wir dann mit Strandspaziergaengen und Ausruhen am Pool gut rumgekriegt...
Die Abreise gestaltete sich dann ungleich schwerer... Da wir fuer den Weg zum Bahnhof weder Rikscha noch Taxi gekriegt haben mussten wir dann die 2km zum Bahnhof wohl oder uebel laufen. Und da dachten wir noch es sei wegen Diwali...

Strikes on the Backwaters

A tuk tuk driver indicated some smaller boats moored near our guesthouse and said that these were cheaper. We wandered down had took a look aboard the only boat that was left. She didn't have name but we thought she was very pretty and snug. There was an outside dining/relaxing ...

... prawns, the size of a head. Decapitated and barbequed they were delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Home time came too soon and having been bundled from bus to bus, we found ourselves back in sticky Fort Kochi. A quick coffee, internet and visit to the tourist agent for next weeks adventures and we are ready for school in the morning.

Blessed for Generations

... tardent pas a nous rejoindre (en T-shirt!!! L'eloignement de la civilisation permet d'eviter la burqa, mais restons corrects, quand meme...). L'eau doit bien etre a trente degres, de la couleur d'une vraie eau bien naturelle pas elevee en captivite (entendez par la qu'on n'a pas besoin de tendre completement le bras pour ne plus voir sa main), il n'y a personne a cinq cent metres a la ronde...
