... and anecdotal stories I jabber on about while on the road. It is a thing for our friends and family - and it is not serious.

So my predicament arose... how could I go to Auschwitz and write about it lightheartedly in this blog? Worse, how could I never mention we were there? How do I take the solemn experience of Auschwitz and put it in this goofy-ass blog?

... a small creek. It was pretty enough, and there were a couple of narrow winding roads up to the church. I was mostly impressed with how hilly it was, I had not gotten the sense that there was much of any topography from the pictures on Google maps, but the town has a fair amount of vertical. It also has a large church on top of the hill, unfortunately it was built in 1889 and most of the graves were from the 1900's so no luck finding any Czerkauer's ...

... that she would pick us up around 3 p.m. That was not to be either. I finally gave in and took a nap, so needed after the restless nights. Feeling rejuvenated, I gathered Vanya and we went to say farewell to Ciocia Jasia and Wujek Elvis. We managed to drink some coffee and have some cookies before Ania called once more and told us to get ready. At last!
