Amazing stay at Rafayel on the Left Bank!

Had an absolutely amazing stay. The room was exceptionally clean and we had sooo much room. We paid for a treatment at the spa and the treatment was great! There were about 2 other couples in the spa that day so we got good use of the spa's facilities. The next day, however, there were about 5 other couples so we couldn't make use of them as there's only one jacuzzi, one small exercise pool and a sauna.
The room itself was amazing, and we had a free drop off/pick up service to Clapham Common or Clapham Junction which was useful! The only drawback about our stay was the lack of facilities in the spa...

    FOX and the English

... how I had picked up the habit of saying it in place of excuse me from when we went to Paris. I had observed that not only did I feel “cooler’ and “French” while saying it but I actually got a faster and more noticeable response from the word. Fox says in the boox that the word is meant for the lower classes and shouldn’t be said. While this may be the case I think she should make an exception for the use of it with a French accent. ...

... a quick lunch before heading off into Green Park and eventually going have a look at Buckingham Palace again.

It was nice seeing London again, a fitting last look at Britain before I travel to the USA, a completely different country altogether albeit we speak the same tongue. As I write this blog I'm sat in the RAF Club library and again I am impressed by the architecture and paintings. The food and service of the club is second to none and ...

... soccer. I honestly don’t know how much more I can take, and what is worse, Nick has made himself a little chart on his phone of the teams how many times he has seen each one play and who he hasn’t seen yet. He gets all excited when a team like Japan are playing because he hasn’t seen them. It doesn’t matter if it starts at 11:00pm, or if they are playing a rubbish side. I think I will be happy when this World Cup is over. ...

... Maybe people are wrong about the English weather. We didn't see any sign of rain. We secured our luggage and dragged it past merchants, kids, and people sitting out at cafés for about two short blocks before we got to our apartment at 22 Dean street. Our building is sandwiched between a restaurant and the Soho theater.

Maria from London Apartment company let us into the apartment and showed us around. It's a nice apartment. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, ...

... Afterwards were hanging out and Kelly asked me if I wanted to take a walk around Hyde Park. So we did and I took tons of pictures once again and enjoyed the beautiful weather and good company. Afterwards we went back to the flats and just hung out and then that night we got ready to go out again to a bar that they frequently go to called O'Neills. That night we all pregamed together and were on our way out. Apparently before 11:30 there is no ...
