Our one-night stay at Rafayel on the Left Bank, where we visited the Houses of Parliament, British Museum, the London Eye and Planet Hollywood!
Ko sva po 13ih letih spet obiskala London, nisva bila tipična turista. Večino glavnih atrakcij sva obiskala že takrat, tokrat pa sva bolj ali manj pohajala po ulicah, si ogledovala stavbe, opazovala ljudi in čajčkala.

... did a rollicking gypsy encore with lots of tapping and banging of violins which was great fun. After the concert there was a rush downstairs to sit around with a glass of sherry and discussion of the concert. Caught a bus home and it is much easier than the tube as well as being able to see the city and being cheaper. Our oyster cards are working overtime.
Cheese and toast for lunch was great and Mum is able to have a nap this afternoon.
... Mums old house where Andy and Debbie met us. So good to be in a house again after small rooms in Italy and France. Girls are very excited to be here.
Currently no WiFi so taken a walk today down to Leisure centre, with pools, movie theatres, bowling and lots of eateries. Good old McD's WiFi. Ax
... in the grass under a giant tree that kept us cool. This was so nice to do since both of us have never done it before. It was a really good mid day snooze in other words! When we woke up we went to Buckingham Palace and took some pictures by all of the statues and we have decided we are going to try and tour it in late August as it offers them starting the 3rd! We continued to walk around and search for some more water. It seemed like forever ...

Had an absolutely amazing stay. The room was exceptionally clean and we had sooo much room. We paid for a treatment at the spa and the treatment was great! There were about 2 other couples in the spa that day so we got good use of the spa's facilities. The next day, however, there were about 5 other couples so we couldn't make use of them as there's only one jacuzzi, one small exercise pool and a sauna.
The room itself was amazing, and we had a free drop off/pick up service to Clapham Common or Clapham Junction which was useful! The only drawback about our stay was the lack of facilities in the spa...
