      ... in the northern part of the Indian River Lagoon. There were many varieties of beautiful birds i.e. the anhinga, spoonbill wading bird, blue heron, coots, white and brown pelicans to name a few. We thought we would see alligators but none were to be seen.

      ... couple of hours later we were given our upgraded van - hmmmmm. Not so good in our eyes considering we'd specifically asked for a well researched RV that we knew would accommodate Ellie safely sleeping at night. Yes they gave us a bigger van (27ft instead of the smaller one we booked) but it had a huge double bed that Ellie could fall out of easily and Greg was not so happy about driving such a big van.       We have been at Sycamore Lodge and RV Resort in Jackson Springs, North Carolina for almost two weeks. The campground is a reasonably nice. There is very little to do in the area.
