I am all ready and am now waiting for the shuttle to take me to the airport. My flight is at 2:35 PM to JFK where I will have a 5 hour layover, arriving in Cairo at 4:45 PM local time. I estimate from the time I leave home to check in at the hotel in Cairo will be about 26 hours.
Coral Springs, Florida, United States lsuetang... which was followed up by the worlds best crab soup and an order of a lobster patty melt sandwich. All of this was washed down by a mai tai, which was not really a mai tai but a concoction of rum, apricot brandy, amaretto, grenadine, and more. Tasty, but I had no idea what it was.

After Two Georges we had to quickly get ready for the wedding and head down to the reception hall. It was a lot of fun, and was about what I ...
West Palm Beach, Florida, United States jeremystravelsYep. That pretty much explains it all. Mostly hung out and cooked some good food. Well, Josh did dinner for two of the three nights we were there. Stir fry the first night and then we had this awesome chicken dish that is made with sour cream and Italian dressing. It was delicious. Definitely went to the beach a ...
West Palm Beach, Florida, United States faith.morgan... just to remind her of the granddaughters who like it a lot, as does Jay who had three helpings. Jay won't be back til Sunday night and we will be on our way to London. It was sad to say to say goodbye, he has been wonderful to us during our two weeks here.

Although Gary is not keen on seafood both he and Todd cleaned up their plates so I think it went down really well. They, and Lona are watching a movie I'm not really in to while I am doing this.
Delray Beach, Florida, United States artell... with the promise of an early sale, fingers crossed. Very strange ride up the Interstate at 70/75 mph with no helmet, something that probably won't ever happen again.

Went back to Erin the hostesses house for coffee and had a great afternoon with her and her husband who was on the wagon and very appreciative of having overseas guests and a genuine reason to break out ...

Delray Beach, Florida, United States artell... Adam Brown at his house in Miami. It was lovely to hang out in his pool for the evening and watch the most spectacular storm. The following day we made our way to West Palm Beach which was beautiful!! The sand was so golden, although it was just too hot to do any sunbathing!...And i have to say the 'transvestite' show was something of a spectical!
West Palm Beach, Florida, United States emmawatson87So the Lion Country Safari was one of the coolest things ever. You drive through it in the car like an African Safari. If you've actually done an African Safari then you will probably be a little bored but if you haven't then you may like this. The Lion Country Safari is actually in a city that starts with an L...Loxa...something. You will see signs for it on both 95 and the ...
West Palm Beach, Florida, United States bashleyf... have to be in the car for about 45 minutes as we head up to Stuart, our old town, to say goodbye to my dad and a few close friends (Mary, Joe & Frank). Aaron was very appreciative of this short journey seeing as I convinced him to sit in the passenger seat like a pretzel, with his legs on the dashboard, as I shoved extra stuff that I "had to keep" in front of the seat until we dropped ...
West Palm Beach, Florida, United States i-wander... 20+ knots and sets a course for West Palm Beach. There is a bit splash, but no spray is coming over the bow and the ride is relatively smooth. We spot several large islands on the horizon, and they turn out to be the same large ships; oil tankers to be specific. There are tug boats maneuvering the tankers are taking them to offshore docks where the oil can be piped to shore. There are tankers and freighters in all directions, all miles away but we need to keep our eyes ...
