Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town. During the summer it is also a tourist town. Very quaint houses - likely many are vacation rentals. Then we headed back south to Aalborg where we will stay overnight before taking the ferry to Sweden tomorrow ...

I absolutely adore Aalborg! It is not a tourist part of Denmark by any means but it is wonderful. The people are so lovely and friendly, it is very safe and clean, the night life is great, it is beautiful and the food!...... I don't think the food gets any better than it does in Denmark!

I have been here twice already but plan on going many more times and hope, one day to go on a more permanent basis :-)

Interestingly, Lone’s aunt has a summer holiday house next door to Princess Mary’s. Apparently their home is nothing flash and Mary happily waves across the fence to her neighbours. The village is actually on our cycle route-so maybe ...

... them! Then they were asked why there were only 2 beds, chairs, etc (Spooky had 'jumped ship' from his own van for the day), he then had to try to explain what the Windy was all about, to someone that spoke little English!

Tomorrow we are going to Valle in Norway - whoohoo!

    Hopefully, same time tomorrow...........!
