... colder. The scenery was so nice and much better to see on the deck so we chose to stay outside. After about a half hour we reached the dock for the glacier, the sun was shining and no more breeze so we quickly warmed up on the 3/4 mile walk to the glacier viewing point. A guy from cruise critic had organized a full day tour today, with a bus load of others. We took the bus north on the great Atlantic road, a recently built road connecting many islands with bridges that has become on of the top tourist attractions of Norway. Day 12 - En route to Alesund

Not much to report today. We crossed the arctic circle about 8.30 this morning.The last few days have been quite busy so it has been nice just to rest and relax.

I went along to another Destination presentation by Susan Leng, Alesund and Flam are our final ports of call. We have been to both places before but during May time so it will interesting to see them in the Winter although not expecting such cold ...
