    ... small villages I've seen, there was an open library where people can borrow books based on a trust system. There was also a sign for the sister city from Plankstadt, Castelnau-le-Lez in Southern France near Montpellier. There are many sister cities or city partnerships in Germany and even Edingen has a sister city in Breton, France: Plouguerneau.

    ... Very few people speak English and the majority of the residents are grandparents. It's awesome. We have an entire apartment to ourselves and it has been so lovely to spread out a bit and cook! I have been cooking up a storm for us.     Monday morning bright and early we set off to visit Philip Sehne and his wife Eleonore in Loerrach which is on the border of Switzerland.     ... opened and so we ran back. Hiltrud and Oliver then cooked us an amazing tea, first proper home made food we've eaten in what seems like a lifetime- an inside BBQ because of the weather!
