Well, we had a surprise yesterday when our home-stay hosts suggested we stay in Speyer an extra day. It seems the anticipated guests for the next weeks home-stay have faded away. That saved us an overnight in Frankfurt. So today we flew entirely without a flight-plan. We got up, had some coffee and toast and decided we should confirm train times to the Frankfurt Flughafen. ... town. Next we visited the Faberge museum and this was fantastic. We had a girl from Russia explain the collection. It all belongs to a wealthy Russian (VERY wealthy) And he houses it in Baden Baden because it is more secure there. I cannot imagine what it all would be worth. Unfortunately we could not take any photos. Had another hour or two in the thermal spa then relaxed dinner at an Italian restaurant. Love ...
