Denmark seems to have a laid back feeling to it even though it's not really a big tourist destination. The Danish also seem to be very proud of their heritage, taking glory from the Viking era. They claim that much of the British language has been 'borrowed' from Danes, extending from the Viking period. I can't say I can understand any of their language so I am unsure which bits are 'borrowed'. ...

Picked up Europcar, 15 minutes walk from hotel, and drove to Roskilde. Degree of difficulty? Well you do drive on the right-hand side of the road, there are cyclists all over the place, it is a manual car, the road signs are in Danish and the maps are tricky to read at the best of times.
