Arriving just in the nick of time, Arber and Besim collected us from Vienna airport just as their was a suspicious unattended bag in the arrivals section of the he airport. It was closed off as the police invaded the area, cutting it off - no one could get in, or out... Catastrophe averted, we were on our way to Arber's house in Stoob (about 45 minute driven from Vienna) After suffering mild whip-lash rom Besim's rally ...

When we got to the hotel, we connected with Val and Dan and then went out to dinner on the main square in the old ...

The town is also on the edge of a lake, so there is lots of marsh land and food available to them. Our hotel recommended a Heuriger (a tavern run by a winery) in another town. It was called Gut Oggau, in the town ...

    Let's Get Physical!

A travel blog entry by lizzierees on Jan 18, 2014

Our hotel for the next few days is a Sport Hotel(!!) So, we are all on a little bit of a health kick!

The hotel comes with a large gym which is free for guests to use - we took advantage of that alot!! There's also a bowling alley inside the hotel. In our heads, we were imagining a big hi-tech bowling centre like David Lloyd; what we got was a VERY dated room that smelt like sick and 3 VERY old bowling lanes with what looked like melons for bowling balls. Still, we ...
