Not very pleasant, but "hei", somehow I must get into this city, signs which forbids anything to bicycles do not exist. Anyway, make sense, why to have such signs for only one bike!

... point and choose cafe - you point at the dish, the guy behind the counter sloshes it onto a plate and the cashier at the end charges you. Nothing goes fast over here and the food is usually mostly cold by the time you've got through the queue and found a seat.

... didn't factor in cold, rainy weather when planning our trip, so Blair's fabric shoes and my leather ballet slippers didn't take us on any long meandering walks like we've done in all the other cities, which was unfortunate.

Then there are the smaller and simpler things like having a picnic on the grass in Berlin, playing in the sprinklers in Krakow, eating too much gelati in Italy, getting scared of swimming in amazing clear ocean or not getting hopelessly lost in Russia, plus travelling by boat, train and plane.
