Yesterday I went to the tourist office to see what adventures I could do before we returned to Zurich and our subsequent trip to Budapest. The options that I had were Parachuting or Paragliding. I tried to book the Parachuting but the tourist office could not contact the Parachuting company, so I selected the Paragliding. I booked an 08:00 flight …
Today was the get together for our travelling band. There are 39 of us. We are a mixture of Aussies, Yanks, Canadians and Indians. Our guide is actually an expatriate Aussie. This is predominately a train tour although we will have coaches to get us from the train stations to hotels, restaurants and local sight seeing. We were taken on a brief tour …

We left Perth 2 months ago. We have stayed in many hotels and B&B. The Radisson Blu in Zurich Airport certainly rates at the best that we have stayed in so far.
It has a large bedroom with a king size bed, desk, 2 comfortable chairs, large TV, mini bar which we could stock with our own food, tea and coffee making facilities, a large bathroom with a heated towel rack.
The breakfast was excellent and they had a well stocked bar. The restaurant had a good menu but it was expensive, but apparently all restaurants in Switzerland are.
