We left Perth 2 months ago. We have stayed in many hotels and B&B. The Radisson Blu in Zurich Airport certainly rates at the best that we have stayed in so far.
It has a large bedroom with a king size bed, desk, 2 comfortable chairs, large TV, mini bar which we could stock with our own food, tea and coffee making facilities, a large bathroom with a heated towel rack.
The breakfast was excellent and they had a well stocked bar. The restaurant had a good menu but it was expensive, but apparently all restaurants in Switzerland are.

Darum sagen wir jetzt See You in Vegas

Traveling the world has truly opened my eyes to who I really am and what my purpose on this Earth should be, and I can see myself living the life of a wandering soul for some time to come, but eventually my heart knows what it wants and my head can’t deny it. Family, friends, the comforts of a home, a life firmly planted in one place where I can watch the trees grow ...
... Lucern which is beautiful. It snowed just about all day and we were cold. It’s a medieval city with 2 covered bridges crossing the River Ruess. These bridges are famous as there are story panels inside the internal roof trusses. One of the bridges is being completely renovated at the moment and closed, the other is under renovation but open to the public. There is a water tower at one end of the bridge, this tower served to provide water to the medieval city. ...
... we got to Dubai and the extremely plush airport, full of Arab men (in white) and women (in black). Also what seemed to be the entire population of India, waiting to get their Retina screening (why??). Sajiv, my cousin, appeared to have forgotten me again. This cast me back to the last time I stopped in Dubai, which is a long story in itself. Anyway, I managed to get someone to call him on his mobile, and all was ...
... of those super-cool conveyor belt sushi places. This one was a bit different in that everything was ordered by touch screen at your seat at the sushi bar. You could even message a random person sitting at a random seat. It was sort of odd...but interesting none-the-less. We also had some great Mexican and tapas for our other meals. If you can't tell we were in no mood for swiss food and definitely not for kebabs (which were all ...
