We headed over to the former Dominican monastery and did an audio tour. It was very well presented and informative. However, I don’t think life in the monastery would have been easy and I presume that the buildings were very cold in winter.

From the city to the country
... our hotel and checked in, however, the young lady does not speak a lot of English. We would soon learn that most people in this area speak German or Russian. Tourism is not a strong point of this town, however, they are now promoting this town as the regional "capital" of Uckermark.
