    We fly into Santiago at 11am and thought we would walk out to a private transfer but to our great annoyance our travel agent forgot about this leg of the trip and we were stranded with no transfer and no accommodation booked!     Day 2

    Today we did a hop on hop off bus tour around Santiago. Our first stop was Mall Parque Arauco which is Chile's most important mall. It is massive but unfortunately as it was a Sunday it wasn't open until 11am so we stayed on the bus and kept going as we had lots to see.

    ... had one. In total we were 44 American students from all over the USA. All tiered from traveling and all hungry. It felt like freshman year of Uni all over again, meeting some many new people at once and trying to figure out what everyone was about.
