... have a couple mins in your day, stop back by and see if it's being updated. It will also depend if I can get some free wifi on the trip.
Our flight is leaving from Cincinnati (CVG) at 1408 I believe, and after a couple hours of being in the air we stop at JFK for a 3 hr layover and then it's off on a 7hr flight to Ireland which I believe we will be arriving there at 0700 local time. The jet lag is gonna be a B%*(*#.
... br>So we begun our trip today at 4:30 AM from PeeWee Valley, KY. We're driving straight through all states towards Florida. All 14 or so hours. How exciting!? Actually not that exciting. We were smooth sailing through Kentucky with no problems. We stopped in mine and Diana's favorite city. Rich-City (Richmond), Kentucky for some breakfast at Waffle House.

... the world (for a lesson on the making of bourbon see the photos!). The tour was great and we were able to sample their final product at the end of the tour (of course this was a highlight, and Adam felt he needed a bottle- for purely scientific purposes of course....) Upon leaving the distillery we realized we hadn't eaten all day so we headed for some grub in Lexington. We happened ...
Lexington, Kentucky, United States sarah.scampini... it would be slippery and slimy, but it was just like a dry piece of meat. ;-)
That night, five of us (including Jackie and her boyfriend Bruce) went out to a great Italian restaurant, toured downtown Lexington, then went and had some ice cream.
It was a great day.

... a parade of breed's presentation, the Hall of Champions show and toured their museum which highlights the history of horses from ancient times to the popular sporting events of today. They also offer seminars and courses on horse care and management, animal health, riding and horsemanship. As we toured, they were preparing for a three day Rolex Kentucky Equestrian event where the winner gets $100,000 and a Rolex watch. Observed: · NO fences have corners - they're all ...
Lexington, Kentucky, United States jimcabay2009 04 21 While driving from Nashville to Frankfort, we passed through a higher set of hills where the highway was cut through shale rock and shear escarpments of red/grey stone. In true Kentucky lingo, they have named their highways "Ridgetop Speedway," "Highland Rim Route," "Kentucky Bourbon Trail" and "Bluegrass Parkway." In February, western Kentucky endured an ice storm that flattened trees over a wide area. Even today, large spruce trees are bent to the ground and ...

Mount Sterling, Kentucky, United States marijka... tired, but my first thought was 'where the hell am I?' and my second thought was 'WHY?'! It may also have had something to do with the fact that the Greyhound bus stop was in the middle of nowhere, and the local bus stop into "town" was across a road (see also 'six lanes of traffic'. Six lanes? To me that equals motorway!) And it was by a WalMart. I hate these places, they ...
Lexington, Kentucky, United States vicarooToday, I drove from Louisville to Lexington to have lunch with a friend. The horse ranches around the area are gorgeous -- clearly gentlemen ranchers, not true farmers. I saw lots of men in camouflage, so I decide NOT to walk in the woods, lest I be mistaken ...
Lexington, Kentucky, United States ahartry... at me as they walked by & I thought I have to get off this bike, less attraction for them. I stood in a corner up a few steps up from the bike & one of the girls/ladies said "hello America!" I smiled & waved, they all started waving. How she knew I was from US, I don't know. I wasn't wearing Red, White & Blue stripes. I could see they were passing words down the rows of the parade. This man yelled; "marry me." I took off my sunglasses & they all started blowing me Argentina kisses & I ...
