We also went to Krustyland and went on the simpsons ride. An evil guy from the simpsons had taken over Krusty's ride and wanted to kill us. We almost got killed three times, went on two roller coaster and heaps of drops, not to mention going through the earth, all in this ride!
Our last ride was E.T where we had to save E.T's plant by taking him there. We came back home and had sausage risotto and baked bean.
... stayed at the Monumental a handful of times and prior to this trip, had no major complaints. The hotel has a good location, is quiet, clean and the staff usually pretty friendly. Parking is also a dream and there are no hidden resort fees. We checked in pretty late since we went immediately to the park and then dinner right after and were given a room on the 3rd floor (307 I believe). Right away we ...

And so the day arrived. I was pretty slow to rise you’ll be shocked to hear, but Sara ensured I didn’t miss my flight ("Get up Trys!" – I don’t know how many times I’ve heard those words in my life). The star that she is, she escorted me all ...

Saw heaps of birds ( kept thinking of ken Mossop) and saw more than 20 gators, mostly small and one that was about 4-5 feet, which was not scared of us, the boat got really close before he flipped and disappeared. The airboat was fun, went fast and did some cool turns. The earphones hurt after a while, but it was too noisy without them. ...
... fireworks there was a show where they project all kinds of images on the castle. It was all very clever but probably better viewed from the front and not from our side on position - although it was still impressive and very differnet to see.
Then at 10pm the fireworks began and these were much better than those at Epcot. Again - we were a little "side on" so the fireworks appeared to one side of the ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Radisson Hotel Orlando - Lake Buena Vista
Excellent Hotel in Great Location
This hotel has recently undergone extensive renovations and it shows. The property is very well designed and the rooms are very comfortable.
My brand new room came with a jacuzzi, LCD television, Sleep Number bed and all the other things needed to make the stay comfortable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to discriminating travelers who expect clean, comfortable and stylish accommodations.
My family stayed here for a weekend trip. We enjoy staying near Downtown Disney so this hotel was a perfect choice. It sits very close to I-4 and 535 so you do occasionally hear road noise and emergency vehicle sirens.
Stayed here for one night and got a good walk-in price on opening week. The property is brand new and has been finished to a high standard. It's very close to Disney and is within walking distance to various eating places (e.g. TGIs, Dennys) so good if you fancy a drink with your meal.
Nice Hotel Close to Disney
This hotel is recently remodeled. Everything is very nice. The rooms have the great sleep number beds and very nice linens. The bathrooms have been updated and are very nice. The lobby and hotel exterior are very nicely done. The staff in very nice and accommodating. There is a restaurant on site, there is a concierge (time share) on site (not pushy, very nice) and they have scheduled bus service to Disney. There is every type of restaurant right around the hotel. If you do not have a car you can easily walk to many choices. With a car you are 5 minutes from Downtown Disney. We had two great nights and will definetly stay here again.
Nice, new Radisson
Radisson outdid themselves with this remodel of an old hotel close to Downtown Disney. Large clean rooms with sitting area, refrigerator, and microwave. The best part is the easy drive to Downtown Disney, although coming back you need to pass the hotel and do a U-turn. Sleep number beds a dream come true. Walking distance to other places to eat. I got a great price but once this place catches on, I don't know how long that will last.
We stayed here the 1st weekend of April. Normally we stay at the deluxe or moderates on Disney Property. However, they were booked full. We chose this property over the Country Inn & Suites to try out the sleep number bed.
I was in town for a conference and I stayed at the Radisson Lake Buena Vista Orlando for a total of 4 nights. I reserved my room through the hotel's website and I got a room at a pretty reasonable rate. Hey, the rate was not cheap but it was reasonable enough for the Lake Buena Vista area.
My family and I stayed at the Radisson Spring Break week- Mar 18-25. The hotel is beautiful. Very spacious and clean. However, one day when we came back to the hotel for an afternoon break our room was not clean. Housekeeping came by at 4pm to ask if we still needed service. The location of the hotel has positives and negatives. It is very close to DT Disney. The problem is the entrance of the hotel is on SR 535. If you are not careful, you could miss the entrance to the hotel. And because it sits on this street (very busy) you have to u-turn, stop at the light, go under the freeway, stop at another light and then enter the hotel parking lot. It has the same entrance as the Waffle House and a souvenir shop. The other problems with this hotel is that it does not have a computer center for guests nor does it have a laundry room. I was told I would have to go to one of their sister hotels for those services.
My family and I just returned from Orlando this past weekend. The new Radisson is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are amazing with their new decor. Location is perfect, just 30 seconds from Disney Main Entrance. Staff very polite and helpful. We paid $109 per night and thought it was a great deal, especially for a brand new place and entering Peak Season. We will definitely stay here again.
Went to Orlando on a one night golf holiday. Drove to my Lake Buena Vista home. I always stay in the area there by the Hyatt Grand Cypress though not at that hotel. The Radisson was just open two weeks and advertising a special rate. Paid $109 for the night.
This hotel was an old Days Inn. Took 22 months to remodel but they did a great job. Sleep Number beds with nice linens. (Pillows toooo smushy) Nice 37 inch LCD flat screen, small fridge, micro. Obviously very clean since it was only open 2 weeks.
Girl at the front desk was kind enough to log me into Southwest web site so I could get my boarding pass 24 hrs. early. Staff was nice but I don't demand much.
Hope they keep the place up because the overhaul was great.
