... shops retuned my items and had another look around, didn't buy anything else so back on the bus to the hotel- however not before I tripped over and rolled my ankle! Not bad but these things always happen to me! At the hotel I sat for 20 mins with ice on it and was getting bored so suggested we go to the movies as the weather still wasn't the best. We planned to see anchorman 2 but it wasn't on for another 2 ...
... Beer. I'm not gonna lie- I haven't seen or read anything Harry Potter so I didn't get too excited but Paul loved it (even bought two wands!). We tried the butter beer which was delicious- a combination of creaming soda and butterscotch! It was quite busy in the theme parks today but we had VIP passes which allowed us to jump the queue on all the rides and shows which was a real blessing. It saved us so much time and patience. We hardly stopped all day and would definitely ...
I finished my Trail Work job in Nevada, strapped everything i owned on my bike, and hit the road en route to Orlando Florida. It was 7 days until Thanksgiving and i had 3,000 miles ahead of me.
The first day, reno to vegas, was a cloudy chilly nevada day. In my 3 months of living in nevada it rained 3 times, the 3rd being my exit. 4 hours outside of vegas the rain hit. first an on and off sprinkle, then a consistent sprinkle before the sky opened up to a ...
... for me I had just got to the end of my book as it did! We headed undercover and hoped we would see it out, but after half an hour it didn't look like easing up, so we made a mad dash home with our towels over our heads.
Day 13- Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios
We headed out on what we thought would be our last trip into Disney. On arrival we took the skytrain over to Epcot as there were a few rides that we hadn't been able to do. We ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Radisson Hotel Orlando - Lake Buena Vista
Excellent Hotel in Great Location
This hotel has recently undergone extensive renovations and it shows. The property is very well designed and the rooms are very comfortable.
My brand new room came with a jacuzzi, LCD television, Sleep Number bed and all the other things needed to make the stay comfortable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to discriminating travelers who expect clean, comfortable and stylish accommodations.
My family stayed here for a weekend trip. We enjoy staying near Downtown Disney so this hotel was a perfect choice. It sits very close to I-4 and 535 so you do occasionally hear road noise and emergency vehicle sirens.
Stayed here for one night and got a good walk-in price on opening week. The property is brand new and has been finished to a high standard. It's very close to Disney and is within walking distance to various eating places (e.g. TGIs, Dennys) so good if you fancy a drink with your meal.
Nice Hotel Close to Disney
This hotel is recently remodeled. Everything is very nice. The rooms have the great sleep number beds and very nice linens. The bathrooms have been updated and are very nice. The lobby and hotel exterior are very nicely done. The staff in very nice and accommodating. There is a restaurant on site, there is a concierge (time share) on site (not pushy, very nice) and they have scheduled bus service to Disney. There is every type of restaurant right around the hotel. If you do not have a car you can easily walk to many choices. With a car you are 5 minutes from Downtown Disney. We had two great nights and will definetly stay here again.
Nice, new Radisson
Radisson outdid themselves with this remodel of an old hotel close to Downtown Disney. Large clean rooms with sitting area, refrigerator, and microwave. The best part is the easy drive to Downtown Disney, although coming back you need to pass the hotel and do a U-turn. Sleep number beds a dream come true. Walking distance to other places to eat. I got a great price but once this place catches on, I don't know how long that will last.
We stayed here the 1st weekend of April. Normally we stay at the deluxe or moderates on Disney Property. However, they were booked full. We chose this property over the Country Inn & Suites to try out the sleep number bed.
I was in town for a conference and I stayed at the Radisson Lake Buena Vista Orlando for a total of 4 nights. I reserved my room through the hotel's website and I got a room at a pretty reasonable rate. Hey, the rate was not cheap but it was reasonable enough for the Lake Buena Vista area.
My family and I stayed at the Radisson Spring Break week- Mar 18-25. The hotel is beautiful. Very spacious and clean. However, one day when we came back to the hotel for an afternoon break our room was not clean. Housekeeping came by at 4pm to ask if we still needed service. The location of the hotel has positives and negatives. It is very close to DT Disney. The problem is the entrance of the hotel is on SR 535. If you are not careful, you could miss the entrance to the hotel. And because it sits on this street (very busy) you have to u-turn, stop at the light, go under the freeway, stop at another light and then enter the hotel parking lot. It has the same entrance as the Waffle House and a souvenir shop. The other problems with this hotel is that it does not have a computer center for guests nor does it have a laundry room. I was told I would have to go to one of their sister hotels for those services.
My family and I just returned from Orlando this past weekend. The new Radisson is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are amazing with their new decor. Location is perfect, just 30 seconds from Disney Main Entrance. Staff very polite and helpful. We paid $109 per night and thought it was a great deal, especially for a brand new place and entering Peak Season. We will definitely stay here again.
Went to Orlando on a one night golf holiday. Drove to my Lake Buena Vista home. I always stay in the area there by the Hyatt Grand Cypress though not at that hotel. The Radisson was just open two weeks and advertising a special rate. Paid $109 for the night.
This hotel was an old Days Inn. Took 22 months to remodel but they did a great job. Sleep Number beds with nice linens. (Pillows toooo smushy) Nice 37 inch LCD flat screen, small fridge, micro. Obviously very clean since it was only open 2 weeks.
Girl at the front desk was kind enough to log me into Southwest web site so I could get my boarding pass 24 hrs. early. Staff was nice but I don't demand much.
Hope they keep the place up because the overhaul was great.
