We are fully packed ... amazingly stuck to our plan of bringing just two bags each that qualify in size for carry-on. Whether or not we get away with it on each flight remains to be seen! We are hoping since we are flying all segments in Business or First Class (used miles - could never afford to buy such ...
Williamsport, Pennsylvania, United States kurthLong drive today. we left Eastham about 10 a.m. When we left we had noticed a noise from the tire. Mark stopped at an auto repair place he had seen and they took a look. Not a big deal. Seems the hub cap got bent- I think we must have bumped a curb somewhere, and it was making a noise. Put the hubcap back on- noise gone, problem solved. And on we ...
Williamsport, Pennsylvania, United States mernmb... we have met a couple of ‘newbies’ I’m sure they won’t mind being described as such, our common ground is that they have a lovely motorhome made by the same manufacturers as Bree. We spent a very enjoyable evening in their company and were sad to see them leave next morning. Our uncommon ground is that Linda is an extraordinarily talented lady, check out her work at http://www.midtel.net/~imaginee/ Some people just make you feel humble.
... to me. jahd and tiff are both staying up. tiff's going shopping in an hour and jahd has to work. ewww black friday. why did i have to come back to the world? why? but tomorrow we're all eating dinner at shenai's which should be fun. i'm gonna try and take something so i'll figure that out tomorrow. but for now it's good night to the world....let's try something like peace love and crowded dance floors
Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States hannahandbrian... all day, and eat for the most part, but hey living in america is rough - really. We spent the first couple days at brian's baby sitting chase, the puppy, and hoping for our bikes to make it safely back to pennsylvania. When we had no luck with that we headed here to my house and were thrown right into the "line of duty" with full on child baby sitting shifts as soon as we got here. needless to say ...
Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States hannahandbrianSomehow, Someway, Brian and I both survived the marathon drive home...we survived the boring roads of michigan and ohio, and we(or i should say brian) survived my high pitched singing(brian calls it screaming) to the same five songs that all pop radio stations across america are overplaying. First things first, we were just in time for will's birthday. We had ...
Montgomery, Pennsylvania, United States hannahandbrian... that Geno's is the best cheesesteak. I am declaring Geno's to be the Official Cheesesteak of Ride with Joe. I even got a picture of Geno's Harleys that he had in a display window across the street. By now it was getting late and we decide it was time to get on the road and head back to the campground for the next phase of Rally on the River. Summer is definitely coming to an end. It was a cold ride back to Sunbury. Time to start thinking about heading south soon.
Sunbury, Pennsylvania, United States ridewithjoe... 3? hours of driving....but we were still going to make it! I am proud to say that I drove the entire "hand" of Michigan. We switched when we got to Ohio and ate dinner. There wasn't much to the night drive...we took a few stops to nap...one where we ended up spending 4 hours there and just kept inching our way forward. you know...a few coffee stops, some loud ...
KOA angekommen.
Williamsport, Pennsylvania, United States cipo... some extra cash. So we headed to my grandparents house to shovel them out. They said there was no need, maybe tomorrow, but we figured get rid of most of it today and if there is new snow we would head over tomorrow. Now sitting around, we don't know what to do or even watch on TV. We still adjusting to living in Pennsylvania. Can't believe it snowed 10 inches today and we were trying to avoid winter for the year!!!!
