I was so excited to realize that I've run 888 miles for you Ciaran! That puts us just a little north of Bowling Green, Ohio. We are almost to the state of Michigan, which is the last state before we get to Canada!!

I think that the coolest thing about Bowling Green, Ohio has to be the wind turbines. Just outside of town, there are 4 giant wind turbines. They use the power of ...

... exhibit--- well worth it! We weren't supposed to take pics in this show but you'll see I managed to sneak in some footage of Shiva Bhairav. Then I drove across the Erie Lake shoreline of Ohio to the Toledo Museum of Art... less exciting than Cleveland but still a good stop.

Tomorrow I'm headed to Chicago to see an old friend.

Last night in Monroeville, another cyclist came into town to stay at the shelter. It's so large that they have accommodated over 25 cyclists at one time. It's nice riding ...

      Day 25

A travel blog entry by danielstravels on Jul 26, 2014

We were up at 6:30a.m. and left the hotel before 8:00a.m. We made it to Toledo by 5:00. We were in our driveway before 6:00p.m. after a trip to the grocery store. All animals are alive, well, and happy to see us! Now the fun part of cleaning out the car:(

Yes, we would leave tomorrow and do it all over again if we could! There were a few meltdowns along the way, but the laughter and experiences far exceeded the not-so-fun times.

The Packing Up and Pull Out From Home!

We got packed and pulled away from the home compound at 8:35 a.m. We were only 35 minutes behind schedule!! We headed to Detroit to take the Ambassador Bridge to cross into Windsor, Ontario.

The traffic was relatively light and the Customs & Immigration was the smoothest EVER!!

More about that traffic a bit later.

      Instead of Tim Horton's . . . it was Mickey D's . . . for a little nourishment to get us to the 401! Later, ...
