... the loonies in the laundromats on the road.

Our hotel had its own customer laundry so we were able to luxuriate in our room in between cycles.

After a good few hours looking round the museum we headed to the Mohican state park campsite to set up camp, make tea and have a chilled out night round the campfire :) Me, Betina and Joe are chefs for the night and we rustled up a delicious spicy chicken and rice dish which seemed to go down really well although I made more of a rice pudding than a pan of rice ha ha. ... which pays homage to all the different cultures which shaped the city as it is now.
The rain was very heavy at times, so we needed to roll down the clear plastic shades and zip them at the sides but it made it so stuffy. Thank goodness we only had to "suffer" a short time.
The trolley took us along the Lake Erie shoreline, and made a 15 min stop outside a small museum. Near here is a small airport made from reclaimed ...

Leaving Cleveland was a major pain. We faced detour after detour. Mostly it was due to construction, but that was not the case in the local park where we were supposed to pick up a bike path along the shore. We were evacuated by police, who were in the park with fire fighters and medics. They already had it taped off and were yelling at the large crowd ...
