We spent Friday seeing a few more sights and started packing for our trip back home. (Actually writing this from home.) We visited the Catacombs after a long wait in line. Creepy but fascinating. ... stop I would go to had a sign saying that no bus was stopping there because of road closures in the downtown area. Thanks to Google maps I eventually did get to a bus stop that had my number on it. I was really lucky cause I got on JUST as the driver was about to pull off from the kerb! We slept kind of late after our busy first day on the road, but wanted to get to St. Paul in time to meet friends John and Toni Wilcox for an evening at the State Fair, so we hastened to get on the road as quickly as possible.

I roll in to the Super 8 hotel in St Paul that I had a reservation for (thanks Tara for being my Garcia and looking up the hotel) and find out from the woman at the front desk that it was great that I had a reservation but the reservation did not guarantee a room.
