... sides. Of course, homes by the river are highly prized.
The P’s are not lucky enough to live at the river, but their home is on a quiet dead-end street and it is also very nice. They have a small garage which makes parking easier. Catherine says that this Sunday she and Julia will take things to an annual flea market in the town. They will sell things that they are staging now in the garage and buy more things to replace them. She and ...

This is when the alarm bells started going off in my head. He just made me uneasy, the way he was staring at me. He asked wh**e I had come from and I answ**ed "Washington DC". The look of hatred in his eyes startled me, and he spat "you're full of **** if you're from DC". I hastened to clarify that I wasn't, in fact, from th**e, but I had only been visiting. This was when I knew he was some ...

If you like great but not fancy accommodations and excellent regular food try Kibbutz sometimes called Guest Houses. Not cheap, but consider that 2 or 3 meals are included usually.
A dinner in a restaurant averaged $15. A car (Mazda 3) for 8 days was $500, Gas was about $8.00 a gal but with all our driving around for eight day, we spent $130 in gas.

Well we started off right, but we hit lots of traffic on Rt. 95 heading into Mt.Vernon and Richmond. Made a historic pit stop at Mt. Vernon. Pretty impressive place. I almost embarrassed Kristi and had us kicked out for rubbing my face on General Washington's pillow. They take that stuff very seriously nowadays.
Then off to Richmond where we met Ryan and Kelly. First night...hotel...not bad.
We hit ...

Luba and I slept in until about 830am. Bevil and Stewart were, of course, up, dressed and waiting for us. Bevil and Stewart took us to O'Doul’s for breakfast and then afterwards took us to visit the family plot at the Hollywood Cemetery. It was great to see that Luba was actually interested to see where my father and family were buried. After a short ride through Richmond we headed back to the ...
... We would ride the Superman and whatever crazy rides 6 flags had to offer again and again and again.
Kings Dominion has both a water park and a regular amusement park together. The tickets were something like $55, according to the program coordinator who purchased them. What??? Despite the high price, there were a TON of people. The crowd was really diverse in age and demographics. I saw an old white guy wearing ...
The trip from Indianapolis, IN through KY and WVA was hectic and nothing new to see except for a quick tour of Louisville, KY.
The roads were really bad and conjested from Indianapolis on. We overnighted in Louisville and took a quick, err, slow tour on the horse cart around the downtown area. Not a bad city, except for ...

... placed a premium on setting up for the proper angle to approach the green...it would have been nice if there was a yardage book available to help you navigate the course. If you had the wrong angle, you were punished with tree as an obstacle, daunting carries over water or small greens protected by bunkers. I immediately ran across these concepts in the three holes #3-#5. Hole #3 was a short par 4 at 267 yards with a ...
Richmond, Virginia, United States ndsquirrelWell this weekend I finally rented a car (after planning to the so for a long time). The reason was to fold: 1. Getting used to driving before the big trip to Washington next week, 2. Fun! And so I rented the Ford Focus you can see in the picture which was great accept for no central locking and no electric windows (very annoying!). On Friday we decided we're going diving Saturday night (yes night), so we went to pick up the diving equipment and then I ...
