      Final Trip Summary

A travel blog entry by charleneraymond on Jan 03, 2015

People ask me why I travel and how I can afford to travel. It's been a long year working my ass off. Putting in almost 400 hours of overtime in 2014, and I make traveling a very high priority. I save money specifically to spend on trips. I don't think I go a day without dreaming of traveling a new country. South America has been epic. There was NEVER a day I felt "alone" even with traveling solo. I've met so many people along the way from so ...

... I didn't have a clue what was going on in the game so basically just cheered, shouted or chanted when everyone else did! It was really cool to see my first college footy match and even better knowing someone in the team, makes it more exciting. Unfortunately they lost by one point so even more excuse to get hammered!

As a final entry to this blog we wanted to share a project we worked on while we were away. When we embarked on this journey we wanted to do something that we could carry through the whole trip. Something we could do in each country that we could tie in with the rest of the world. We racked our brains for a while trying to figure out ...

... But even she didn't seem to know what had happened.

(people - please make sure you buy travel insurance!!!!!)

We rented from Hertz, but there was a line up and one person working!! The only hope I had was it would take off a days rental if it took this long :-) But they have a kiosk where you pick up the phone and talk to a live person in Phoenix and get your car that way, really neat.

Off to the house I rented for my parents in Kissimmee!
