Rockies!!
... of street hockey. With not much else to do in such a small town we filled the rest of our time by walking the streets and taking jumping shots in the middle of the road. This was followed by a spontaenous mini party outside the hotel where we relaxed and listened to a random elderly man (possibly a neighbour?) serenade us with some classics. ... a little uncomfortable at times. But at least so far isn't not been too cold. It's going to get relly cold now in the mountains.... Think I need to buy a new jumper....... OFF TO BANFF. Out and About
... there were still patches along the walls. When we reached the upper falls, we decided to press on and hike to the Ink pots. The trail along the canyon is nicely paved with boardwalks, but after you leave to hike onwards it became a mix of mud and slippery ice. It took us a while to get there, but eventually we came out to the clearing where an alpine meadow revealed the clear pools of thermal, green coloured water. We stopped for lunch before heading ...
