      Monday is market day in Selby and Sue wanted to have a look around. There is also a designer outlet mall just outside York....clearly another site of much interest for Sue, thus stop #2 on our way to Durham.

      Glad to leave the Wishing Well Hotel, whilst this place seems to get great reviews it is not for the hotel part of their business. …

      ... was extremely empty and even with all the flooding and wet weather I was just plodding along gently and enjoying every minute. Of course this little road heads through many small and scenic towns, many of which are full of historic buildings and old bridges etc and for sure make for an interesting journey. Finally after a wonderful few miles I pass through the historic town of Coldstream and cross the wonderful old river bridge into England. The road is now in a ...
