      Good Out of Town Hotel

I have stayed at a variety of hotels over the last 3 months. The Radisson and Park hotels (both the same chain) have always been of a high standard and suited my budget perfectly. The Radisson Blu Media City is about 10km from Dubai. Fortunately taxi fares in Dubai are quite reasonable but I guess that some of the money we have saved on the room has gone on taxi fares.

... were good and the rest were OK and one course, neither one of us liked at all. wow. I was so excited to go to Burj Al Arab and have some tea and food and then it was not wonderful. At least I was in the Burj. We were able to sit and watch some man kayak back and forth across the water in front of the hotel. he was most energetic.

After a couple of hours in the Burj, we figured it was time to head for our other Burj, Burj Kalifa. ...

What better way to start your day than with some left over butter chicken for breakfast? Today we have a city tour and a desert safari tour booked. Our city tour brought us to all the major sight-seeing destinations. Our first stop was the Dubai Museum in al Fahidi Fort. The Fahidi Fort is Dubai’s oldest building made out of sand and coral in 1878. The fort has been made into a museum ...
