I have stayed at a variety of hotels over the last 3 months. The Radisson and Park hotels (both the same chain) have always been of a high standard and suited my budget perfectly. The Radisson Blu Media City is about 10km from Dubai. Fortunately taxi fares in Dubai are quite reasonable but I guess that some of the money we have saved on the room has gone on taxi fares.

The cruise this evening was a little disappointing. After the well organised evening last night, we were shown to a table for two, so the opportunity to chat with other people was not there. We sat waiting for a large group of diners to arrive before the dhow was allowed to leave the wharf! ...
So here I am, Dubai! After the metro journey to Jumeira Lake Towers where I was staying, it was around 10.30pm and I was so hungry after not eating since the previous evening. I stopped in a little cafe and tucked into a halloumi wrap which was amazing! I then went down to cluster Q where my friend lives, and assumed we were going to have a quiet night. Wrong! Out here they start partying at around midnight. So we got ready and headed ...
