    Good Out of Town Hotel

I have stayed at a variety of hotels over the last 3 months. The Radisson and Park hotels (both the same chain) have always been of a high standard and suited my budget perfectly. The Radisson Blu Media City is about 10km from Dubai. Fortunately taxi fares in Dubai are quite reasonable but I guess that some of the money we have saved on the room has gone on taxi fares.

... home. I instantly became very nervous because we had a flight to catch in just a few hours. Luckily, it is very customary in Dubai for men to pull over and help. The flat was changed within 20 minutes thanks to a local arab man who stopped to help!

I was sad to leave this amazing place. The growth of Dubai over the past 30 years is unlike any other destination.. They have an amazing vision for the UAE and I am ...

... We don't want that and ask a third local, who is able to explain us that the taxi boats are 1 Dhiram (= 0,20 Euro). A magnificent ride, practically for free. The contrast on the water is tremendous. Here you find a hidden gem in Dubai itself. Locals making a living of some tourists, visiting the Dubai Heritage Town and processing stock. It's clearly a harbor. Microwaves, refrigerators all stacked on the dock. In the heritage town we found ...

... Mikhail and Arran went to find the famous aquarium. It was huge! Now it was time to go up the Burj Khalfia, after a bit of a queue and security, we were on board the fasted elevator in the world. Covering 3floors per second and we got off floor 124. We were very high and poor Arran who was ******** bricks! We were outside on floor 124th floor and the view was brilliant! On a good day you ...
