I have stayed at a variety of hotels over the last 3 months. The Radisson and Park hotels (both the same chain) have always been of a high standard and suited my budget perfectly. The Radisson Blu Media City is about 10km from Dubai. Fortunately taxi fares in Dubai are quite reasonable but I guess that some of the money we have saved on the room has gone on taxi fares.

We had a lovely meal one evening at the Marina and just whiled away a few hours and watched the world go by. Last night we went out for a walk and came across a large group of people crowded around a shop ...

... it! I actually feel really sorry for them! Especially the women who have their faces covered too! We had a buffet dinner which was lovely and during dinner there was Arabic dancing. A young man with a round skirt danced by spinning in circles, and as he danced he lifted up different layers of the skirt to make patterns. I couldn't believe how fast he was spinning, at some times it was as if he was in fast-forward, and my mind couldn't justify what I ...

... amount of help from the cab drivers around the city. Primarily because they were the only people that wanted to talk to me, wherever i went, i felt like the odd one out, none the less i did enjoy my self a lot.
Thanks to these cab drivers, i got to see Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Jumeirah Beach and the other free attractions that a studious fella like me could afford(lol).
