Wew thought that we would escape to the country for a day so we hired a car and yes there still was a train strike so I drove through London which was interesting in itself. But we got out Ok and headed south the Brighton. When we left London it was actually a sunny day so we presumed that it would be nice and sunny in Brighton. After a 2 hour drive we arrived in Brighton and went straight down to the Pier and we couldn't actually even see it because of the fog and sleet.

... to the fun fair at the end of the pier - OMG - it was deserted no more! First of all it was So Bloody Freezing, and they had the pop music blasting out of everywhere. Then the people! The whole experience was an assault on all the senses. Outside it was freezing and loud and inside the amusement arcade it was hot and noisy and packed with strollers and people pouring coins into those coin sliding games and toy ...
... and I love it. It's very supportive around the waist, can be use facing in or out while wearing it on your front, can be worn on your side or back. It's very suitable for a petite person, as the shoulder straps are smaller than the ergo, but equally as good for Spencer who is 6ft 2. I've used it since Ru was about 4 months old (once our wrap got to hot to use in the summer) and he is now 1 and easy to carry. ... in a ridiculously cold basement flat with a Glaswegian lady. Apparently Glaswegians are missing that gene that makes them susceptible to the cold. I could see my ******* breath in my room and the controls for the heating were locked in her room. There simply weren't enough layers in the world to keep warm in there and I was banned from using hot water at night because the boiler was in her room so I wasn't too upset when she asked me to move ...
