    ... will make the further drives nice. Driving here has actually been a lot easier than I had imagined. It took no time for me to get used to driving on the left side of the road, and the right side of the car. I feel a little more cultured already, although the car has an automatic transmission which is extremely uncommon here, so not as cultured as I could be. :) Probably for the best, though.     ... Camps Bay and the Cape of Good Hope. A very rewarding finish, and we were really lucky with the weather so could see for miles over the beautiful city. Unsurprisingly we got the cable car back down and headed to buy food for a braai (BBQ) back at the house. At the shop Dyl bought us beef and kudu biltong which was surprisingly delicious - kind of like beef jerky but much softer and tastier. A few Castle lights and good food whilst preparing for a sky dive tomorrow... Eek! GB ...

    ... the road from us so it has not been exactly peaceful since last Sunday - and today it's Wednesday. According to the news reports the fire is - at the moment - contained but not under control.     ... junction theme park and the rehabilitation with the sea birds. The rehabilitation centre was a big eye opener and definitely worth doing. I would suggest the rehabilitation centre to anyone who is looking to go over to South Africa for voluntary work or if a school group is going over seas to do voluntary work for a couple of weeks.

    ... actually came earlier than us and took an earlier boat. We are now on different buses, but it's still good to see them.

    We end our tour of the island at the prison, after stopping at the lime quarry were the prisoners spent their days working pointlessly, just to break their spirit. Then our bus tour ends, and we are now continuing the prison visit with a former prisoner as a guide.
