Apparently Australia is a long way away. Who knew?
I left my home in Bloomington a little before 10am on Friday morning. We stopped by my parents house to consolidate, had a quick lunch, and left the Indianapolis airport at about 2pm. Anticipated arrival time in Australia is 9:15am on Sunday. That's right. Saturday doesn't exist. Mind you, there is a 16 hour time difference... but still.

Suzi got to come over to visit for a while but unfortunately Don, Stacy, Jason and the boys were all unable to make it. Those poor folks that have to work I guess ;-)
We decided to take a tour of the TC Steel art museum. It's just a few blocks from the Hilgedags and we have admired the buildings every time we drive past them. I never knew it was actually a museum!
This morning we went to 'The View' restaurant with Bill and Jeni and their daughter Suzi and her husband Don. OMG good food and great bloody mary's! Such a fun group. Lots of laughter at our table.
After brunch we went out to the view point and took pictures with the 'stoner' statue. (A statue of a couple with their arms around each other looking out at the lake.)
