Every year when March rolls around we can't wait to head to Vermont's best kept secret - Bolton Valley. This year we are glad to have the Casey family joining us for the trip. The temperature at Bolton has stayed on the cool side and the conditions are supposed to be great. We will know soon enough.
After we disembarked the ferry, we decided to make a pit stop at the Tim Hortons right beside the docks. Actually, we normally stop at this Tim Hortons - either before or after we take the ride to the Island.
Frederick got a white hot chocolate and muffin, Fiona got a hot chocolate and donut and I got a coffee and a muffin ...
... but luckily we caught it on time. If we would have missed it, we would only have had to wait for the next one - would take an hour. Anyways, we made it so we were headed back to Kingston. The ferry back to Kingston was full. In fact, for two unlucky vehicles, the ferry was too full by the time it came their time to get on - so they had to wait until the ferry returned in an hour.

Once you've gotten credibility and trust, things will be easier. They'll treat you as equal and listen to you when you speak.
I don't mean that they are discriminative. Everyone has their assumptions and guard against "outsiders". It is human nature. I just have to learn how to break down these assumptions and be part of the group.
