Well this morning we said goodbye to New York City or to NYC Meaning NOISE YELLOW CABS CROWDS as the people in the Bronx and Harlem call it. Is a great experience. I JUST LOVE NEW YORK

We caught the Amtrak train from Penn Station for a lovely ride through New Jersey, Philadelphia and Maryland arriving in beautiful sunny Baltimore around 2 pm. It is situated on a really huge estuary ...

... then went upstairs to the Irish Bar - Tir Na Nog (turned into a bit of a pub crawl really). Had Californian Pinot Grigio and we shared a Creamy Crab and Red Pepper Dip with put bread. Super rich!

We then had a nice walk along the waterfront and went to dinner at Brio, a Tuscan BBQ Restaurant. Peter and I shared Roasted Chicken with Mash and baked veggies, and BBQ Shrimp with rice and asparagus. YUMM! We were so full ...

As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out for the night which was surprising considering it was 5am British ...

... Presidential seal was not on the cars, but we suspected that they contained the Obama girls on their way home from school or shopping. We do not really know if this is the case, but it is fun to assume it from the way the cars sped by.

We stopped by Ford's Theater to see the box where LIncoln was shot. They have a very nice museum in the basement providing more Lincoln history as well as information on Booth and his accomplices. We ...

... Even though I have very mixed feelings about Texas, the tattoo which was now a burning sensation on my spinal cord gave me a sense of strange comfort, as though everything had now been accounted for. As if I had done everything I needed to do to prepare for this new life ahead of me, which would begin in Nepal. As if I was ready for my journey. I drove blindly onward toward my final destination, The Colony, Texas, with no idea the things that I would have to confront; I had ...
