Yesterday I got a mail that my flight would leave earlier, so by 7:45 I was in my cab, perfectly on time at Rabat Airport. Just to find out that my flight was cancelled and that they would drive me by bus to Casablanca. If I'd known that before I would just have stayed in bed and take a cab to Casablanca. ... into one of the streets and enjoyed both a hot chocolate and the accompanying escape from such an intense neighbourhood. Later that evening (after another nap and some passive weed inhalation... Seriously, the amount of smoke in this city is ridiculous) I meet with a couple from the tour for 'date night.' After a wander through the city, some tasty Italian and a movie in a gorgeous old cinema we called it a night and I was officially on my own. Eeee! The next day I was pretty sick ...

... are lovely, but for 9 euro you can get into the Botanical Gardens and I am sure it is even more beautiful, and far less depressing. Ah well, now and then a bad choice is part of the deal.

Karin made another lovely dinner and then we went off on a little boat trip around the canals. They are very touristy, but I love boat rides around the cities. It is such a lovely and different perspective, and very relaxing. The heavily touristed parts of Amsterdam are ...
