      ... His involvement in plans to assassinate Hitler let to his arrest in 1943 and was later executed in 1945.

      After visiting the Bonhoeffer house we went on to St. Matthaus where the entire group was a part of a Lutheran Hour recording. The recording is scheduled to air in 2015 so stay tuned!

      ... family. She was also 16 years younger than her husband Martin Luther. Luther and Katharina marriage was not a love affair but a deep affection and strong bond grew in their marriage.

      I know this journey has strengthened and continues to help me grow in my faith to see all the work that has been done before us so that we may have these freedom's and liberties. How blessed we are.

      ... along a little easier. Eventually we emerged from this track only to find that the ferry crossing was not operating due to repairs so this was slightly annoying. Still we sat on the ramp and had our lunch and the girls played games and the sun was out and it was just nice and relaxing watching the river flow past.       ... of a struggle to pedal than the older girls. I was starting to suffer some withdrawal symptoms from lack of ice cream so I managed to persuade everybody to have one with me as I hate to eat alone.       ... we found an escape route. Not an hour I would choose to repeat in my life. Can't read the road signs and depended almost entirely on our nice British sounding woman on the GPS for very turn. In about an hour we were at Wittenberg where Martin Luther lived,preached, and started the Protestant reformation by nailing his 95 suggestions of change for the Catholic Church to the door of the church.
