... whole time we were working on the internet, including this morning, George the bird sat on John's shoulder. He was completely content alternating between watching John type and preening himself. We really tired him out today because when he was put in his cage at night he went right to sleep.

So had the chance to sleep in this morning but obviously slept too much yesterday so up at 7:30am. Down for breakfast and it was very interesting, fish rice, garlic rice, tofu curry, odd sausage, prawn crackers and chilli dips, just another normal breakfast… off to the supermarket now for some boat snacks as we are about to embark on a 30 hour (minimum) boat journey down to Jakarta. ... Perhaps a good choice since we were not moving anywhere in traffic. The malls here are very similar to North America. It has a lot of the similar stores and a many really nice shops that wished we had at home. Had a fabulous meal at a Chinese restaurant at the Senayan City Mall then ended up purchasing a neat little travel bag that fits the ipad just perfect! Margie ended up buying one too. ... s a Saturday and there are a lot of people there. The school looks exactly like in the photos I had been sent because it is pretty new. From what some people here tell me, the whole neighborhood is still relatively new within the past 20 years. The school has been open for a few years, maybe 6 or so, and you can tell.
