These are my neighbours grandchildren. They really brightened up my day when I did all that waiting last week. We just played "lucky seven" and "war" with my deck of cards, but they seemed to really like it, because they kept coming back. Haha.

Weekend in Jakarta

So on Friday me and Anna got a train from Yogyakarta to Jakarta, which departed at 8.45 am (we got a Rickshaw to the train station, poor guy could barely move forwards with all our bags to carry as well ) and arrived in Jakarta at about 6pm... We went to the hotel across the road from ...

It was a 50mm day for me and I realised (again) that shooting in 50mm makes me happier than most other mm! The old town was buzzing with activity - scouts and guides on an excursion, colourful bicycles lined up for rent, kids ...

... will be good. Ally was in his element snorkelling as he has done it before. This was Cat's first time however and she was enjoying it less; her mask kept filling with water and so going up her nose. She also seemed to get a lot of water and some of the tiny pumice stones which were floating everywhere down her tube and kept choking so had to keep coming back up or going back over to the boat. Perhaps it was just the old equipment or perhaps she's just ...
