... for an hour just as the crowds started to get dense. It was an excellent stop
-onward to Leipsig with an interesting detour right at the end due to an accident on the motorway. Go GPS!! We continued our tradition of driving in a pedestrian only zone as we hunted for our hotel. :-). Glad we have a teeny car.

... trend. Also the cold wind was back again which made the sections into the wind somewhat trying. At Mockritz the dreaded Umleitung struck again and we were sent along the actual road to Dobern rather than the dyke path. At Dobern at 21km we stopped for out morning coffee and it wasn't yet 10:30! A sign said only 8.5km to Torgau - Yippee!

We have noticed since Wittenberg that the signage is still good for those coming ...
