We finally made it and are currently sitting on the train to Cordoba as I write. 1.5 more hours and we will finally be at our destination. Overall: 19 hours of traveling.

Beautiful Mezquita
... right next to the hotel. We ate in the Patio of the Oranges, and I must say it is a beautiful lunch spot. We even did it again the next day.
Then we went to see the Mezquita. Despite the crowds and tourist souvenir shops outside the building, inside it was dark and cool and calm and quiet. Not everything lives up to what you'd hope it would be, but the Mezquita was really nice. In fact, Cordoba is a nice town and I'd go back again.

Moorish Spain - Seville and Cordoba

When we arrived in Cordoba, it was a little rainy so we decided to find something to eat. We went to a place known for its ginormous Spanish tortilla. Normally they are about 2 inches thick. These were between 6-8 inches. After, we went to see where we could go in the Mezquita (Mosque). It was sadly closed that afternoon so we decided we would get up the next morning to see it.
