We left Longview TX and 480 miles later we arrived in Amarillo TX. The drive was 75 mile an hour on flat highway. We saw oil pumps, cattle. and farm land. It's rare but it can ...

To see the dessert is a great experience. Do it! But respect it! It can be dangerous if you are not understanding the distances and how it is.

There are few places to fill gas or eat. In some places i counted up to two hrs to see nothing else than sky and dry surface. There is very long time when GPS nor cellphones are working. You must have water and something to eat with you. Maybe first aid kit is good to ...
