... a replacement phone. We picked up something quick and easy for dinner and took it home on the 10 min Tram ride to eat in our room. The walk from the Tram to our hotel is less than 5mins, and with sunset not till 8:30pm, this whole tram thing is just too easy. ... and followed the mountain side quite closely and through some lovely forest which was quite cool on a rather hot day. The ride was also very quite – only about 4 other riders on the road and a couple of cars. We nicknamed the ride the “tour de la black holes” due to the 4 tunnels that we had to ride through that had no lights. 3 of the tunnels were only about 50 – 100m long and not too bad however the 400m tunnel had us in fits of laughter! ... as there was a championship happening whilst we were there !!!

After the lap, we parked the bikes up and entered the bike park as we had to pick up our rider numbers. The French are pretty strict when it comes to wanting you to have documentation, but when it comes to look at it, to be honest, they couldn't give a toss about it !!!

Numbers received, we went back to the hotel and relaxed in the pool as the temperature was hitting ...
