... into the modern hotel on the way to my room on the 2nd floor. The lounge area off the main lobby is very nice and has floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the restored Dominican cloister. There’s another smaller mezzanine lounge looking over this one on the floor above next to the business centre.

After breakfast we caught a tram into town towards Heroes Square. We couldn't make it the whole way there because the metro was closed as Vladmir Putin was in town.
