Sometimes you just need a day to sort your life out. That's pretty much what today was. I even had a To Do list. It had things on it like get a haircut, do your laundry, cut your fingernails, and other things I need to get done before Jenni gets here tomorrow. I've actually been scoping out all the nice places so I can totally sweep her off her feet when she arrives. Seriously, I want to make this really special for her.

It was very sunny in the morning, and temperatures made it quite pleasant outside. As the house is often too small for everyone, especially when no major activities are planned for the day, I volunteered to take the boys to one of the local parks to burn off some energy and let Laura have some time in the house to herself. I enjoyed it, though the ending was a bit hard to follow (even knowing what was supposed to be going on), I was just feeling very warm the whole time, not helped by the fact that Blake was on my lap some of the time and the seats all sat over heating vents (would have been nice if it had been cooler).
