... up the sunshine. (The weather in Melbourne is exactly like my hometown in SA, Port Elizabeth is renowned for 4 seasons in one day, as well as having a cold and rainy day one day and then gorgeous sunshine the next). The wind was a bit chilly, but as long as you sat directly under the heaters and faced the sunshine, when it reappeared from behind a cloud - you were cooking on gas.

... raining and we struggled to find parking when we got to Melbourne which was a bit stressful. When we eventually got parked we went to the Melbourne Museum for a couple of hours and saw lots of animals, learnt about aboriginal history and saw a section based on the body and mind which was pretty cool. In the afternoon we wandered around the city checking out the Shopping Arcades before heading out to the campsite in Williamstown.

Within central Melbourne all the teams are free which makes it easy to access areas around the city without walking miles. It's pretty easy to navigate due to grid system and I got my bearings quite quickly. The different places to eat around are pretty decent, I think my favourite was Taco Bills, a little Mexican place. One of the days I went with a girl from my hostel, Tara, and we rented some bikes ...
... they were fun - I climbed through a huge hanging rope structure and pinned a word to an image board. Some of the best pieces though looked like they must have taken a huge amount of artistic skill, just like I'd expect them to. One piece was called Don't Worry and depicted the artist's life story. We have left to Austrailia! We left at 6 am and arrived here at 9 pm the next day. We are staying with a nice woman named Lynsie Anderson. We slept and ate breakfast at her house before leaving for the Royal Botanical Gardens. For lunch, we got two spring rolls for $5.40, then we went back to the botanical gardens until dinner, when we walked back to Lynsie's house for dinner.
