Back into the peace van, driven by "Deep", hand signals out 'shotgun' courtesy of his silent partner. Our guide from Compass "Kapil", was also there. Inside the walls, both women and men had to have their legs covered …

This place was incredible - the best example yet of how many Indians live (although …

We met Rav who took us to Qutab Minar where we saw our first chipmunk and were told we would see them inside every monument. They were not wrong! Such cutie pies though.
A drive passed India Gate and the Red Fort and then onto Old Delhi for a ricks haw ride. There's a film of this as it was the only way to capture it.
We saw the memorial of mahatma Gandhi and then onto a shop selling real pashminas after falling in love with one to find it was £59 I moved onto one more on my price range and left to go back to the hotel.
A small nap and we went to Oh Culcutta for dinner. Trying to not be too spicy on day one we failed the cottage cheese and pea croquettes had a bite! For main a jumbo prawn curry it didn't lie it was huge! And a banghlideshi chicken dish with lovely garlic naan and enough rice for four!
Nice cold kingfishers were also the order of the day.
Our lovely driver than said he would find the Hard Rock Cafe for us so I could buy my magnet. An hour later we found it! Then home to bed as we needed to leave by 8am.
