... Brigitte Bardot was photographed here and ever since Brazilian people have flocked here for holidays principally in their main Summer season of January and February. It is about 100 miles north east of Rio up the coast and is a most attractive town on a peninsula with around 25 beaches close by. Fortunately the overcast conditions of Rio had cleared here and it was very hot this ...

People are going everywhere, not caring if others are around. After some people watching, I am hungry. Not wanting to eat the street food here, I wander for a restaurant. The entire city is shut down. No restaurants, stores ... are open. I find floats along one of the major avenues, waiting for the first night of the Samba ...

... I have a rent agreement that keeps me from fleeing the country LOL. After that, not really sure where I want to go yet. Ideally, I want to take a good 3-4 months and just hop around the southern hemisphere and see/do as much as possible. I'd also like to get to know as much of Brazil as I can. Some places on my list are: Iguaš˙ Falls, Bonito, Pantanal, Amazon, Fortaleza, Maceiˇ, Recife, Olinda and BrasÝlia. Stopping by to practice my ...
