Hoje fugimos do roteiro planejado.
Mas foi uma escolha maravilhosa.
Nós resolvemos ir à Coimbra.
Como não estava nos planos rodamos a cidade toda para encontrar um hotel.
E por fim escolhemos o mais belo!

Lazy day, took our time getting moving, then headed off to Canimbriga just South of Coimbra to see the Roman ruins. If you're going there, check out the museum first to get a slightly better idea as to what went on there back then.

... Pedro's dad, King Alfonso, waited for the infatuation to end, but it didn't. After the legal wife had passed away and Pedro was poised to marry Ines, dad hired some men to kill Ines--and the dirty deed was done here on the property which is now our hotel. (Legend says that the spring that runs through the property sprang forth from the very spot where she was killed.)

... of course I was simply overjoyed about cos 12
hours in a day is plenty enough already!

Anyway, our Hotel is quite lovely but we only have wifi in public
areas. The Hotel is a converted old palace.
