... Vandaar waarschijnlijk . Maps kunnen het toch niet mis hebben!?! K zit in een Klein familie hotel met zwembad aan de Douro met enorme vriendelijke mensen dit is ook weer zo'n plek waar de hele familie gezamelijk bezig is; ouders met volwassen zonen, en ze schijnen het allemaal goed naar de zin te hebben gisteravond betrapte ik de hele familie die om de tv zat Ligt daar de zoon van pak weg 24 op de bank,z'n moeder zit ernaast en hij met z'n kop bij ma op schoot , wel lief ...
La frontera
... temps est un peu voilé, nous hésitons à mettre les pantalons de pluie, dans ces cas-là si le temps est mitigé, la réponse l'est aussi suivant le degré d'optimisme du moment.
Le relief est vallonné, la route est lisse, pas une voiture, seuls au monde, trois mecs caracolent l'esprit libre et montent graduellement vers les 1000 mètres.

Fantastic tour where, besides the natural beauty, in a sunny day, i could visit the Côa Valley Paleolithic engravings in Almendra and Castelo Melhor, the Côa Museum, and where i could taste the good cuisine of the region on board of the Senhora da Veiga boat at Pocinho.
A fantastic week end, in great in excelent company of simpatic portuguese people.

Pigging Out!!
... But yet so exquisite!
The landscape was a treat to the eyes, and I wasn't disappointed with my first taste of Portugal either! The roast pig was scrumptious, and I knocked down 14 pints of Super Bock (the most delicious, refreshing beer ever) - not a bad start to my MBA journey! Plenty of photographs had to be taken, and Eneken was ever so helpful with her delightful poses.

Reaching Douro, shale and vineyards
The last leg of our route has it: 60 km and 660 metres altitude net under hot sun. It actually felt like more net altitude, so I am not quite sure whether bikemap's information is valid but I cannot validate it. route link
