Another early morning was required this morning to get kitted up for our challenge of the day. A lot of kit was needed, including a lot of clothing, special boots, crampons, an ice pick and helmet. Hostal Sophia was one of the cheaper options in this ritzy little town, but with a roaring fire and enormous kitchen we were more than happy with our bed for the night.
