We drove quite a long way west from London to visit Cornwales. We stayed at a nice local hotel Quies in the seaside city of Newquay. Although the weather was not great (still February) we spent a lot of time on fresh air and had a really nice time.

... of disappointed. Kim did get to see a seal though so she was happy about that, and she also got a photo infront of the most southerly cafe in Britain... Woo Whoo!!
Tomorrow we are going to the Eden Project so we wanted to find a place to stay near there. By the time we got there though it was dark and hard to find a suitable spot. We probably drove around for over an hour before we settled on a spot... We were not a happy bunnies!!!
We spent the morning wandering around St Ives.
It is a beautiful village full of art gallaries and narrow streets.
All the walking around made us hungry.
How could I pass up the opportunity for a hearty Beef and Stilton Pasty.
Kim equally splurged on Cornish Cream Scones and coffee ...
I slept like a log and not a wonder with all that exercise yesterday.
It was dead low tide first thing in the morning so nothing doing on the wave front. Kim and I go for a walk in Newquay town and take a few photos and do some shopping.
10.30 and I in head for a surf for 2 hrs. Clean chest high fun waves and I'm surfing with a bit more confidence having blown away the cobwebs the day before.
Ahhh now I really feel like I'm ...
... and Kim is content to laze about in the sun 18-20 degrees and not a cloud inthe sky - hard to believe it is mid-october.
Kim found a nice coastal walk to keep her occupied while I was happy as a pig in sh!t scoring waves.
Exhausted we found a spot to park a street or 2 from the beach front to spend the night.
... of £50/day (inc fuel) to allow us to travel for the next 6 months.
So, this flash place was not for us. We decided to continue forth up the road 15 min to a "Caravan Park"... quite literally a cow paddock where you could park your van. But a £3 the price was right and we were tired and could not be bothered searching any further.
Atleast there was a place ...
Admittedly, heading to almost the most westerly point of the country at the beginning of an eastwards circumnavigation of the planet was not very practical, but it was definitely worth it - the wedding of our friends Gareth and Charlotte was beautiful and moving, in one of the most picturesque spots in Cornwall at St. Uny ...

I almost forgot, woke this morning to beautiful sunshine.
Day two Friday.
I was just too busy yesterday to update the blog.
Why you might ask, well let me explain. I was busy sunning myself, reading and watching the wrinkle's, I guess I should include myself as a wrinkly cause I have spied someone around my age (35) and just relaxing doing next to nothing, I didn't believe it was possible for me to do nothing but I ...

St. Austell, England, United Kingdom kegibson... hit us in the face in relation to the living quarters, This one had swivel front seats that turned round (obviously) and joined the dining area hence making it possible for at least 6 people to sit round a table. It had a huge area above the bed and he was throwing in a TV/DVD player, reversing camera which was set up with the TV, an awning attatchments with zip and then it was only 4 years old with 9,000 showing on the clock and proof that it was likely to be ...
Newquay, England, United Kingdom suavecarve... until 20.00, which was little less than 5 hours. I read John Peel's biography in a pub. Really I should've listened to the taxi driver getting me to the railway station in Par, saying it's, I quote: "tacky". I did have a best burger in a pub though.
