We arrived in brion, burgundy and were unable to find astrids house, even though the town only had 10 houses in it (and a church!) But wow, what a house! Today we went into the town of Noyers for the weekly market. We started by hiking to a castle on the hill which has been abandoned since the 15th century and is in complete ruins. There was a volunteer group of students there excavating the ruins and rebuilding part of the castle wall. The small market was down in the walled village with lots of fresh foods and hand crafted goods from the locals. ...
