... 160;It has a function to test if bay is big enough -  that will be fascinating. Its about 7 weeks until we depart for Lisbon - as usual we have some time alone and some time with friends.  We're looking forward to meeting Marvin / Linda in the Loire Valley and Allen / Deanna in that corner of Switzerland/Germany/France. Boris - it is not too late for you to pack your accordion and chef's utensil's (and Marg)...I will do airport pickup ...

... ships in, the Carnival Spirit and the Pacific Pearl obviously bringing rev heads to the motor races. We arrived at Station Pier at 4.30 and started to proceed on board at 6.10. I think it would have been better to arrive later. Because we were early we wound up on the very bottom deck, with 5 levels of cars above us. Guess we might be last off. ... The boy had made it into the gorge when he heard the girl screaming for help; it took him an hour to rescue her. They rested in a cave (which you can still see) before he had enough energy to run to a nearby farm for help. The papers of the time apparently thought that the two should get married and made sure to publish such stories, but they were of different standings (the boy was a ship hand and the girl was part of a wealthy family) – glad to hear some things ...

... found our way to the pier - parked the caravan and went off to explore the local shopping area. Tried salted caramel Greek yoghurt with fresh berries YUM!
