    ... There was a great cafe where we had lunch, next to the war memorial which is centered in a very well manicured lawn (not mannequin'd as I initially said!) We spent a very leisurely afternoon walking around the park, through the botanical gardens which give great views of Perth city and reading whilst laying on the grass. Pretty sure it's the first time I've sat down on grass for a good 15 months or so. ...

    ... my high school friend from nearly 40 years ago! Went to her place for coffee and a catch up and then back that evening for dinner. Her partner, Trevor , cooked a delicious dinner and we had a great evening. They have a business as buyers agent, so if anybody is buying and needs help I can recommend Property Wizards.
