    The idea of writing a blog about your travels is both exciting and daunting. After all, it means talking about yourself ! In fact, I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that any average, middle aged ,overweight woman reading this will relate completely when I say that it's people like us that usually go out of our way to divert attention away from ourselves at all costs. And don't even get me started on posting our photos! OMG!!

    ... took random pictures and it was so amazing how much we loved each other after 3 weeks. This hostel was another home away from home. I miss everyone so much. The other thing was that leaving Perth meant being on my way back home. Like home 'home’. And that was a feeling I cannot describe with words. I started shaking just by thinking about sitting in a plane to fly back home. And the last days were pretty much just holding back tears. Well, I am crying right now again ...

    After enjoying our last home cooked meal with our Pele sitters and our neighbour Jean it was off to the airport.  A two meal, three movies and for Annie, a four hour sleep, and then we were here, in Dubai.  Eleven hour flight!    Greg , Hannah and Georgia were waiting for us as they had arrived 10 minutes before hand via Canberra and Melbourne.  Great excitement all round, even though we were all exhausted and it was five am.   The ...
