... Hoi An is a charming beach town known for its downtown area and for the lanterns that illuminate the night skies. We spent our days soaking in the sun and our nights enjoying great food, drinks, shopping and ambiance. We ate at one restaurant staffed by the local youth to assist them in staying off the streets and out of trouble. Hmmm, well I didn't quite get the sleep in I was hoping for. I rang reception before bed requesting an 8am wake up call. Clearly they got confused and gave me a 6am wake up call instead. Since I was now awake, it made more sense to get up and get ready rather than lie there and try to drop off to sleep again.
